EXPLORE BURSARY STUDENTS

The Department of Canadian Heritage and the Department of Education of each province offer a number of bursaries to financially assist Canadian students who wish to attend one of the five-week Explore programs (Spring or Summer).

To qualify for the program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident at the time of application.
  • You must have completed at the least Grade 11 (Secondary V in Québec) at the time of application or be able to provide proof that you will have completed it by the time the program begins.
  • You must have been enrolled as a student on full-time basis for at least one semester during the current academic year.

NON-BURSARY STUDENTS

Session fees

(for non-bursary students only)

5 weeks: CAD$2,300.00

Fees cover tuition, board and room and some recreational activities. Everything is included except transportation to Rivière-du-Loup and personal expenses.

Special excursion fees

(for bursary and non-bursary students)

An additional CAD$175.00 is required for a weekend in Quebec City and an excursion to Tadoussac.

Payment

Payment can be made on the day of arrival by certified check
or postal money order to: Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup.
